Carramar Estate is a label owned by the Casella family, owners of the [yellow tail] wine phenomenon. Its leading wine is this typical Griffith-grown late harvest semillon, which John Casella prefers to craft in a finer, more elegant and less syrupy style than many local expressions of this style. The bottle retasted for this edition was certainly in much better condition than that opened a year ago.
