Now owned by Dromana Estate Ltd, the David Traeger label has made a name for some juicy, if slightly sweet central Victorian Verdelho, as well as some finely crafted, leaner expressions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

Its reds, which are in danger of being released to the market after they have lost their brightness and intensity, are typically tight, lean and protected, and slowly acquire roundness and softness with age.
