Henschke is a small and iconic Australian winery in Eden Valley with access to several landmark old vine vineyards in the Eden Valley itself, others in the Barossa Valley proper, plus some steep but relatively modern plantings at Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills.

Over the last fifteen years, Henschke's reds have gained more fruit sweetness, flesh and opulence, providing a contrast to the leaner, finer wines of the past. As much as anything, recent vintages have dictated this trend, for its evident that when he is able to, Stephen Henschke genuinely seeks elegance and finesse.

Whilst Prue Henschke has been an inexorable force is moving the family vineyards towards a more organic and biodynamic approach in order to provide a sustainable / balanced environment amongst the vines.
