Oakridge is a stellar small Yarra Valley domain for whom Dave Bicknell crafts a range of cerebral, complex and finely textured wines. 
They're typically elegant, seamless and restrained and just the sort of thing you expect from a cool climate operation. The 864 tag denotes the wines at the top of the tree, and its tightly focused, finely crafted and mineral Chardonnays have not missed a beat since the inaugural 2004 vintage.
More recently, Oakridge have significnatly invested in their cellar door and dining options. They are certainly worth visiting on your next trip to the Yarra Valley.
