The Prancing Horse vineyard (formerly known as Lavender Bay) was established in 1990 in the rich volcanic soils of Paringa Road, Red Hill South. This area has proved to be one of Australia's most propitious sites for cool climate Chardonnay and Pinot Noir- a perfect match of variety and land where the French term terroir speaks loudly throughout the hillside vineyards.
