Based at Mintaro, in the Clare Valley, Reilly's is a small maker of traditional regional table wines led by its firm, minty and assertively oaked 'Dry Land' Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon varietals. The 2003 Shiraz is ultra-ripe but certainly not overcooked, and dealt very well with the season, while the 2005 Riesling is a fine and tightly sculpted expression of the variety.
