Rochford is an energetic wine business that acquired Eyton On Yarra in 2001 to complement its existing vineyards in the cool Macedon Ranges region.

Like many other makers in these regions, Eyton has felt the impact of recent hot seasons. Typically, however, the Yarra Valley wines are generous and supple, while those from the Macedon Ranges are tighter and more mineral.
