Established in 1974, and now run by John Rymill, great- great grandson of John Riddoch, the founder of Coonawarra, Rymill’s distinctive winery lies in the heart of this famous region. Grapes grown exclusively in their own Coonawarra vineyards reflect the combination of unique terra rossa soil and the ideal cool climate for which the district is renowned. Winemaker Sandrine Gimon works with vines between 20 and 40 years of age, which allow her to make wines of substance and character.
Self-guided tours and produce platters are available all year.
