A true gem of the Australian wine industry (if not the world!) - Seppeltsfield Wines began in 1851 when Joseph Seppelt, fleeing turmoil in his native Silesia, purchased this beautiful property in the Barossa Valley, and named it after himself - Seppeltsfield. One visit to these historic bluestone cellars and a taste of the remarkable 100 year old Para Port, will provide you with one of the greatest wine experiences available.
Having passed through the hands of large companies over the years, such as SA Brewing, Southcorp and Foster’s, this iconic winery has now fallen into the caring hands of wine entrepreneur Warren Randall. Hopefully his level of love and funding can restore this winery to its former glory.
