Lion Nathan has divested the substantial physical Smithbrook facilities to a wine group associated with Peter Fogarty, the owner of Millbrook and Lake's Folly. Lion Nathan has retained the brand and will continue to market Smithbrook wines, but with wine produced by the site's new owners. This label has developed a healthy respect for its white wines based around sauvignon blanc and its reds around merlot and cabernet sauvignon.
