Stefano Lubiana is a small and highly committed producer of cool-climate Tasmanian wine, and the estate's efforts are becoming more consistent from vintage to vintage. It has a hierarchy of different pinot noirs and still makes a fine collection of other varieties.

Its two creamy, elegant and rather sumptuous sparkling wines, once the subject of global media coverage due to the choice of label colour of the NV, are amongst the finest made in this country.
