The vineyard was planted in 1976 with initial plantings of Cabernet,
Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Vineyard now covers 4
hectars including Sauvignon blanc, Semillon, Shiraz and Merlot .
The vineyard was named Affleck (a corruption of 'achadh-nan-leac' -
the field of stones or stoney field) after the farm in Huntly, Scotland
occupied by the Hendry Family for more than 250 years.
The wines are only available through the cellar door or by mail order.
