Amberley today finds itself in the same stable as Houghton, Western Australia's largest wine producer, because its previous owner, the Canadian wine producer and distributor Vincor (which also owned another significant Western Australian producer in Goundrey), was recently taken over by Houghton's ultimate parent, Constellation Brands.

From a wine perspective, Amberley continues its steady improvement, as exemplified by its best-ever red in the First Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 and the delicious 2005 Sauvignon Blanc.
