This is a brand to watch, as Fran Austin refines a series of piercingly intense but remarkably elegant and focused cool climate wines from steadily maturing vineyard sites. Of great note is the continued improvement of her hallmark wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

With another stellar Pinot Noir from 2009, Bay of Fires now sits comfortably amongst the finest Tasmanian producers of this variety.
