Fifth generation descendants of some of the Barossa's earliest grape growers, brothers Geoff and Robert Schrapel established Bethany Wines in 1981. Their vision was to create a Barossa wine experience for customers, friends and family.

Bethany's reds quickly became very popular for their generous, ripe fruit, forward oak, approachable structure and longevity. 

One of its most distinctive wines, the Select Late Harvest Riesling, has evolved into a finely balanced wine of spatlese-level sweetness.
