The Brave Goose Vineyard is tucked away in the foothills of the Tallarook ranges in Central Victoria. The initial plantings occurred in 1988, starting with Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec, Gamay, and most recently Viognier. The soils are predominantly weathered ironstone loam, with very little topsoil, ideal for growing low yielding, top quality vines.
