Having recently changed ownership after the sad passing of Scottish founder Alastair Sutherland - Capercaillie’s ambition is to remain a small winery which is focused entirely upon the creation of premium quality wines. To enhance the range of individual Hunter Valley Wines they select parcels of grapes from other proven regions of Australia, creating exciting multi-area blends which highlight climatic and varietal differences.
