These rare, unique grenaches from ancient Barossa stocks are perfumed, ethereal, savoury and almost unutterably complex. Furthermore, they're even elegant, restrained and finely crafted around fragile spines of dusty tannins and would work perfectly with rich dishes on wintry days. Despite their alcoholic strength, they are anything but overcooked. The 2007 release is a departure from usual style and quality.
