Hainault vineyard is a family owned and operated boutique vineyard that is nestled in jarrah forest high in the Perth Hills region of Western Australia. The 5 ha vineyard, located 25 km east of Perth at 400 m elevation is the highest vineyard in the State and nestles in forest in one of the coldest parts of the State, atop the darling scarp. It was originally selected as Gungin orchard early last century and was replanted as a vineyard in 1978 by Peter Fimmel, one of the pioneers of the infant Perth Hills Wine Region.
