Hanging Rock has one of the more mature vineyards in the Macedon ranges, which can occasionally produce some exhilarating The Jim Jim Sauvignon Blanc and even Pinot Gris.
Its other main source of fruit is Heathcote, from which it makes several shiraz wines, the best of which, the Heathcote Shiraz, made a sumptuous and handsomely ripened return to top form in 2006.
