Kings Creek

A little botrytis influence in the 1996 Chardonnay from Kings Creek simply adds to its complexity and character. Long and mineral, with typical grapefruit/pear fruit influences, it's another fine wine on the board for this emerging maker of first-rate chardonnay and pinot noir. Slightly leafy, the 1996 Pinot Noir presents a spicy mouthful of wild berry fruits.
