Maipenrai Vineyard and Winery

Maipenrai a small vineyard and winery dedicated to making fine Pinot Noir without compromise. All Maipenrai wine issourced from their close planted 1.1 hectare vineyard atop the Yass River Valley located in the Canberra District. Situated at an altitude of 760m above sea level, the vineyard's rocky soil and cold climate make our six clones of Pinot Noir struggle, but provide an intensity to their wines that can only be achieved in such harsh conditions.
