Margan is a family-owned wine business in the Hunter Valley. Most of its wines are deliberately and very consistently made by Andrew Margan to be enjoyed without a requisite period of cellaring, while the white label Limited Release wines are rather more serious, artful and long living. Andrew has recently ventured into some alternate grape varieties such as Albarino and Graciano - so keep your eyes out for these as they reach the marketplace.
The rammed earth cellar door and restaurant are well worth a visit for a top quality wine and food experience or just a special place to have your next function or event.
