Montrose is a long-established brand that has been part of the Orlando-Wyndham group for a considerable time. It offers two tiers of wines: some from traditional French varieties and others such as Barbera and Sangiovese from Italy. Unless seasons dictate otherwise, as they have indeed done for several recent Mudgee vintages, each of the wines is reliably well made, flavoursome, true to type and offers great value for money.
