Orlando is located in the town of Rowland Flats (Barossa Valley), between Lyndoch and Tununda. With a rich Australian heritage stretching back over 150 years, in recent time they have transferred several labels to their Pernod Ricard stablemate Jacob's Creek. Even though the Orlando collection is diminished in diversity, their quality is unquestionable.
The wines made by Orlando include one of Coonawarra's finest cabernets, Padthaway's best (minty) red, an exceptional and very affordable Riesling, and a smooth, well-measured Chardonnay.
It will be interesting to see what will happend with their classic St Hilary and St Helga labels, now that St Hugo has 'defected' to Jacob's Creek, we'll keep you posted.
