Established in 1983, Otway Estate produced table and berry wines under the Barongavale label. A change of ownership in 1996 saw the planting of more vines expanding the varieties to include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Semillon, Riesling, Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc. In late 2000 luxury adult accommodation was built amongst the bush with views over the vines.
