Mike Peterkin is a leader among Australian makers of chardonnay. While Pierro's has traditionally been one of the country's more opulent and powerful chardonnays, since 2002 it has acquired additional dimensions of tightness and silkiness.

The LTC, essentially a blend of semillon and sauvignon blanc with a dollop of chardonnay, is one of Margaret River's benchmark wines.

The wines of Pierro are the culmination of passion, innovation, location, climate and time. Wherever the wines are enjoyed around the world today they invariably impart a tangible trace of their idyllic place of origin - warm southern climes, ancient soils, healthful vines and years of skilled hands-on viticulture and winemaking.

For over a quarter of a century they have striven to fuse these elements to produce superior wines of singular extraction, character and elegance.

The quest for heightened quality continues with each passing vintage.
