Pikes is an energetic family-owned and operated winery in Clare that produces some of the region's finest wines, especially from its white specialty of Riesling. The ongoing recent pattern of hot, dry vintages has made it difficult for Neil Pike to make red wines to the standard of which he is certainly capable, but the early seasons haven't set the Rieslings back at all.
