Seaview, a household name in Australia, is traditionally known for its sparkling wines.
More recently Seaview has relaunched a range of still table wines – specialising in Italian varieties. Grape varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese have an excellent future in Australian regions that enjoy a similar Mediterranean climate.
Seaview’s origins date back to the 1850s when George Manning established ‘Hope Farm’ in McLaren Vale. The winery was renamed Seaview in 1951 by its new owners, Edwards and Chaffey. The fruit for the wines comes from many regions in South Eastern Australia. The range includes vintage and non-vintage sparkling wines.
