Torambre is a boutique winery which is set within the heart of the wine producing area of Loxton North in the Riverland region of South Australia.
Torambre's unique cellar door is located opposite their vineyards and contained within an original 1940's Nissen Hut. Although extensively re-furbished inside, the history of the soldier settlers huts have not been forgotten. While tasting their superb wine you can peruse the array of memorabilia of that era.
The owners, Tony, Marino and Deb, have total control over the winemaking process from growing the fruit right through to bottling and marketing. The vineyard was one of the original properties allocated to the return servicemen after WWII and still has some of these original plantings.
