Warburn Estate’‘s outstanding success in the Australian and International wine market has been achieved through its expertise in blending traditional winemaking skills, innovative techniques and sound market knowledge.
It is one of Australia’‘s most significant wine producers, with more than 1000 hectares under vine, a crush capacity of 40,000 tonnes and tank storage for 35 million litres of wine. Warburn Estate proudly remains a private company, maintaining its winemaking independence along with the ability to quickly respond to market demands and client needs.Warburn Estate (formerly Riverina Wines Pty Ltd) is owned by the Sergi family, whose winemaking traditions were bought to Australia when Giuseppe and Maria Sergi migrated with their young family in 1952. A few years later, Guiseppe and his son Antonio began growing grapes on their farm at Tharbogang.
They enjoyed considerable success as pioneer winemakers in the region, and the third generation of the family has now joined Antonio in carrying on this family tradition.
