Woongarra Estate

Woongarra is a small family owned and operated winery situated just south east of Melbourne in the beautiful rolling hills of the Yarra Ranges. The name Woongarra means ‘Peaceful Place’ in Aboriginal language and the 80 acre property certainly is. The vineyard was established in 1990, when Bruce Jones planted 14 acres of vines on north facing slopes in this picturesque valley.
